PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE SAVANNA SCHOOL DISTRICT PERSONNEL COMMISSION
The Savanna School District's Personnel Commission is seeking to fill an open position. The Personnel Commission in is a three-member body made up of individuals who are appointed, each by a different method. One member of the Personnel Commission is appointed by the Board of Education; one member by the classified employee union; and the third member is appointed jointly by the other two. The Commission held an open session on Wednesday, February 12, at 3:15 PM to interview candidates for the joint appointee. At the conclusion, the Commission announced that Joycella Burdette was their nominee for the Joint Commissioner position.
